DESCRIPTION
Organic unroasted buckwheat is most commonly used as a dinner ingredient in combination with vegetables or stews, and as an addition to soups, stews and pies. Buckwheat is one of the few groats that has an alkaline effect and helps to maintain the acid-alkaline balance in the body. Eating buckwheat helps prevent constipation. Unroasted groats are not subjected to any heat treatment, which gives them a more delicate taste than roasted groats. It contains a large amount of protein.

PREPARATION
Boil the groats in salted water in a ratio of 1:2 (1 portion of groats to 2 portions of water) over low heat for about 20 minutes.
