Date syrup is a thick and sweet liquid derived from dates and is commonly consumed in the Middle East.
The potassium contained in date syrup supports the cardiovascular system by lowering blood pressure, magnesium and calcium improve muscle work. Antioxidants in the form of vitamins A, C and E, in turn, reduce oxidative stress and thus prevent obesity. The B vitamins contained in the syrup regulate the metabolism and have a calming effect on the nervous system.
This product is suitable for flavoring homemade cakes, pancakes, tarts or porridge. Date syrup should be avoided if you have diabetes, people who are allergic to dates and people with irritable bowel syndrome. Its use is also not recommended for people prone to overweight and obesity.
