Thyme herb (Thymi herba) in the form of an herbal tea for brewing, which is administered for cold-related coughs. It can be used in adults and children over 12 years old.

Composition
The active ingredient is thyme herb (Thymi herba).

1 g of the product contains 1 g of thyme herb.

Thyme herb is taken orally as an infusion.
If symptoms do not subside after 1 week of use, a doctor should be consulted.
Preparation of the infusion: place 1 teaspoon of thyme herb (approx. 1.5 g) in 1 cup (150 ml) of boiling water, cover and let steep for 10 to 15 minutes, then strain.
Adults and children over 12 years: drink 1 cup of warm infusion 3 to 4 times daily.

Effect
Thyme herb is used as an expectorant.

Indications
As an expectorant for coughs associated with a cold.
Contraindications
When should thyme herb not be used?

in case of hypersensitivity to thyme herb or other plants of the Lamiaceae family,
in children with a history of ENT diseases,
asthma.
