Flake yeast is an edible, inactive form of yeast. Flakes are deactivated during manufacture, making them harmless to health.
 They are a natural source of B vitamins, contain folic acid, zinc, iron, calcium and magnesium. Flakes can be added to various dishes including: soups, creams, pies and are also great for sprinkling on sandwiches, pasta or rice. Due to their subtle "cheesy" taste, they are used as a cheese substitute in vegan dishes. They can also be an alternative to traditional coating. Thanks to the content of B vitamins, eating yeast flakes can have a positive effect on the condition of hair, skin, nails, support the cardiovascular and digestive systems.
