DESCRIPTION:

Food for special medical purposes in the form of a hard capsule. Contains butyric acid in the form of microencapsulated sodium butyrate with extended release (SR). Sodium butyrate provides butyric acid for the nutrition of the intestinal epithelium.

For dietary treatment:

  • for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
  • for inflammatory diseases of the intestinal mucosa.
  • for disturbances of the gut microbiota, e.g., after antibiotic therapy.
  • for functional disorders of the intestine (constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloating).

INGREDIENTS:

Sodium butyrate, capsule shell (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), filler: cellulose, thickener: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, coating agent: ethylcellulose.

APPLICATION:

Swallow the capsule with a sip of water. We recommend taking 1 capsule twice daily after a meal.

This product must be used under medical supervision. It must not be the sole source of nutrition. The product is intended for adults only. It should not be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women or if there is no medical indication. The product is not intended for parenteral use.
