DESCRIPTION

ALA is a compound (fatty acid) that occurs naturally in the human body in the mitochondria and is involved in energy metabolism. ALA exists as two isomers, S-ALA (which is chemically synthesized) and R-ALA (which is produced by the body). The traditional chemical synthesis of alpha-lipoic acid produces a mixture of these two isomers, while the R-ALA form is much more active. ALA is a powerful antioxidant that dissolves in both water and fat, thus neutralizing both water and fat soluble free radicals. It significantly influences the renewal of other antioxidants – vitamin C, glutathione, coenzyme Q10 and indirectly vitamin E. Alpha-lipoic acid supplementation shows benefits in various oxidative stress situations.

INGREDIENTS

R-alpha lipoic acid, rice flour, soybean oil, gelatine (capsule shell), calcium salts of fatty acids (release agent).

APPLICATION
One capsule per day. Do not exceed recommended servings for consumption throughout the day. The product cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. The product is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
