Currant (Ribes)

The shrub comes from the gooseberry family. There are 150 species in temperate areas of the northern hemisphere. In Poland, 6 species are mentioned, and one of them is the black currant. The shrubs can reach a height of up to 3 meters and bear fruits called black berries. Pressing the seeds produces a dark yellow oil that has recently been used in the cosmetics industry.

Ribes Nigrum Seed Oil

Cold-pressed, refined, derived from Ribes Nigrum blackcurrant seeds. Blackcurrant Seed Oil is quite high in GLA-14% acid and rare stearic acid (SDA). Intended for mature, sensitive, stressed and dry skin.

APPLICATION :

• this oil can be applied directly to the skin
• perfect addition to the oil base for massages
• Additive to moisturizers, recommended concentration 5-15%
• APPLICATION as an olive for delicate skin that, thanks to its light formula, does not leave the skin oily effect
• Moisturizing Bath: Put about 8-10 ml of oil in a bathtub filled with 1/3 water
