DESCRIPTION:
Zinc is one of the essential trace elements and has countless functions in the horse's body. It is one of the most important minerals involved in cellular metabolism. Additionally, it supports the immune system and is essential for healthy skin metabolism and wound healing. Zinc improves the performance and efficiency of the horse, supports the healthy appearance of skin, coat, and hooves, and is actively involved in the processes in joints and bones.
Zinc in tablet form is suitable for all horses with a known deficiency. Due to its ability to mobilize the body's natural defenses, zinc is also used in horses with respiratory infections, allergies, or RAO. Recommended for horses suffering from hoof problems, as it promotes hoof horn growth.
Horses recovering from trauma or surgery also benefit from zinc supplementation in their feed. It contributes to the restoration of skin and skin cells, thereby accelerating the regeneration of injured skin and wounds and improving the elasticity of scars. Zinc is also worthwhile for horses with coat shedding problems, such as older horses or those with metabolic disorders. Horses exposed to high demands like sports training, pregnancy, or lactation have an increased need for zinc.
