Coconut milk is extracted from the flesh of the coconut. It is a source of minerals such as manganese, copper, phosphorus, magnesium, selenium, and iron. It is a very popular ingredient in Asian cuisine, especially in Thailand and India. Its white color and characteristic coconut flavor are due to its high fat content, which mainly consists of saturated fatty acids. The fatty acids contained in coconut milk help to alleviate chronic inflammation (rheumatism and other autoimmune diseases). Furthermore, the fatty acids in coconut milk have antiviral and antibacterial effects.

Storage:
