Fenugreek is naturally found in the Mediterranean region and in countries like Turkey, Pakistan, India and China. It was used in cooking, as well as in cosmetology and medicine.
Fenugreek seeds have a beneficial effect on the entire digestive system. They support digestion, stimulate intestinal peristalsis and protect the liver cells.
Poultices or hot compresses made from fenugreek seeds are used to treat local inflammation of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, e.g. Boils, abscesses and ulcers.
In cosmetics, fenugreek is used to care for oily and acne-prone skin. In hair care, fenugreek seed infusion stimulates hair growth, prevents hair loss and relieves skin irritation.
