Silber kolloidal - wozu dient und was hilft?

Silver has been known for its extraordinary properties for hundreds of years. Not long ago, people discovered that bacteria and viruses existed in the world. They observed that drinks stored in dishes made with silver spoiled them. On the shores of the ocean, drinks stored in wooden barrels were thrown into colloidal silver coins. Today, colloidal silver is widely used in medicine and cosmetics, particularly in dermatology and ophthalmology. What exactly is colloidal silver?

Silver colloidal - what is it?

Pharmaceutical raw materials such as colloidal silver (also called nanosilver or coral golem) are created by combining silver with a carrier, which can be water, egg white, or gelatin. This is a heterogeneous mixture in which silver particles are visible under a microscope. This indicates its antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. Colloidal silver is available in stores, pharmacies, and drugstores and can also be used externally in cosmetics that contain it in small amounts—e.g., face washes or antibacterial gels. When and for what purpose are these products used?

Application and properties of silver colloidal

Nanosilver is primarily used externally and utilizes its antiseptic and bactericidal properties. Silver ions attract and destroy microbes. Therefore, colloidal silver supports the treatment of conditions such as:

  • conjunctivitis,
  • Skin problems (e.g. acne, psoriasis, eczema),
  • difficult-to-heal wounds (e.g. diabetic foot),
  • burns,
  • sinusitis,
  • AD (atopic dermatitis),
  • Dandruff and oily scalp,
  • Foot and nail fungus,
  • Herpes,

Effects of using colloidal silver. Effectively combats acne and sinus inflammation.

Colloidal silver is effective against acne because it has antibacterial properties and normalizes sebum secretion. It visibly reduces redness and slows down the formation of new blackheads. In addition, it soothes and helps irritated skin to heal by regenerating damaged skin. The small amount of silver included in facial cleansing cosmetics makes the skin effectively and effectively cleanse, and smooths out redness on the face. This helps prepare you for future skincare treatments or makeup application. I also use colloidal silver to help keep infections at bay, as it effectively fights germs, clears nasal congestion and moisturizes mucous membranes, providing relief.

Contraindications for use

Colloidal silver is not recommended for children, pregnant and breastfeeding women. Silver is one of the heavy metals, used in excess it deposits in the body and can have toxic effects. Therefore it is important to use it only in this way and in the doses recommended on the package. Cosmetic preparations for external use, such as tonics and facial wash gels, are generally safe because they contain a high amount of colloidal silver. However, the chronic use of colloidal silver preparations for treatment can induce argyria, a permanent and incurable disease that can manifest itself in other blue discolorations of the gums, nails, skin and eye proteins. Therefore although colloidal silver can have very beneficial effects on many diseases it is very important to use it only as recommended by the manufacturer and in moderation.
