DESCRIPTION
apricot kernel oil will
obtained by cold-pressing apricot kernels. Extremely delicate in taste,
resembles unroasted almond oil. It has a characteristic aftertaste and a
straw color.

Apricot kernel oil is characterized by:
- high
content of unsaturated fats (94 g / 100 g),
- high content of monounsaturated fatty acids
(63g / 100g)

Because of apricot kernel oil
high content of monounsaturated fatty acids is part of the Mediterranean diet

Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet
contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels
(Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats are unsaturated fats).
