The preparation contains 500 mg of vitamin C in each tablet in the form of Ester C®. The preparation is a source of a special form of vitamin C that is soluble in both water and fats. It also contains citrus bioflavonoids, rosehip, rutin and acerola. These ingredients naturally and actively enhance the effects of vitamin C. Ester C® is patented and contains active metabolites of vitamin C (L-threonic, L-lixonic and L-xylonic acids) that significantly increase vitamin C activity and so its action enables unique action in the 2-2-4 system compared to regular vitamin C. Solgar Tablets with Vitamin C - Ester C 500 mg are non-acidic (vitamin C is buffered with calcium), which means that they have a have a neutral pH of 6.7. This form of vitamin C is digestive and kidney friendly, even in higher doses.
