Pomegranate (Punica granatum)

The plant can be found in a variety of thorny shrubs or trees. It belongs to the hemorrhoid family. Grown in hot and dry climates. It is found in the Middle East, India, the Mediterranean coast and the Caucasian countries. One of the oldest breeding facilities in the Middle East. The plant reaches a height of up to 5 meters. The fruits or berries of the plant resemble large apples or plums. They are covered with a thick purple or red skin and have dull seeds inside. The seeds produce a high-quality oil with a thick consistency.

ORGANIC Pomegranate Seed Oil (Punica Granatum Seed Oil)

Cold-pressed oil from selected seeds of pomegranate trees. The main fatty acid in this oil is umbilical acid in an amount of over 72%, which is responsible for anti-inflammatory properties. It also contains bioactive ingredients: tannins, flavonoids, phytosterols, gamma tacopherol, vitamins B, C, PP, citric and malic acids. Due to its strong caring and elasticizing properties, it is being used more and more in natural cosmetics. Recommended for mature, sensitive, dry and aging skin.

Use:

• Not a good base due to its density. Due to the high content of unsaturated fatty acids as an active ingredient use more up to 6-7%
• An ideal complement to eye creams or ointments against swelling
• Supplement to massage olives
• Added in body lotions at a concentration of 5% to the amount of the cosmetic, prevents the formation of new blood vessels
• mix about 5 ml of pomegranate seed oil with another oil carrier (eg avocado) and pour into a bathtub 1/3 filled with warm water.
