St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) has a long history of traditional use by herbalists, dating back more than 2000 years.

DESCRIPTION:

St. John's Wort is a plant whose stem tips are a pharmaceutical raw material. It is used as a decongestant and helps in the treatment of various gastrointestinal diseases as well as liver inflammations.

INGREDIENTS:

St. John's Wort herb extract (Hypericum perforatum), capsule components: coating agent (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose); anti-caking agents (vegetable fatty acids, silicon dioxide)

RECOMMENDED USE:

1 capsule daily with a glass of water, preferably with a meal.
The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

This product is not intended for children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers.

Do not use if hypersensitive to any of the components of the preparation.
Larger amounts of St. John's Wort can cause photosensitizing reactions (skin redness) when exposed to strong sunlight or tanning beds. It is known that St. John's Wort interacts with antidepressants, oral contraceptives, immunosuppressants, anticoagulants, antiepileptics, chemotherapeutics, and other prescription and over-the-counter medications. Do not use this product while taking medications or if you are ill without consulting your doctor.
