Without research, it is difficult to determine the acid-base balance of an organism in the home. However, the pH of urine can be approximated very accurately. Measuring is easy thanks to the detailed instructions that accompany the papers.

Measurement accuracy:

Our papers measure the pH with an accuracy of about 0.2 degrees. As such, they lend themselves to detailed pH measurements, unlike most other litmus tests, which have a 1-degree scale.

For example, the pH in urine is around 5.6 - 7.5. By using our papers, you will be able to detect various variations, even small ones, in pH throughout the day, since the papers can show the following values in sequence: 5.6; 5.9; 6.2; 6.5; 6.8; 7.0; 7.2; 7.4. Papers with a color scale at a pH level only show a value of 6 or 7.

The papers can be used to determine both acid and alkali. Measurements should be taken for at least two weeks. The papers contain a table on which the measurement results can be systematically marked.

< strong > Accurately measure urine pH:

Collect fresh urine in a container, tear off the litmus paper and immerse the indicator field (yellow) in the urine for approx. 1 second.
You can also wet a litmus paper in your urine stream.
The indicator field must not be touched with the fingers beforehand!
The indicator field changes color depending on the pH value.
The color of the indicator should be compared to the color scale and the pH read within 2 minutes.
