INGREDIENTS
Matcha green tea powder * (* from certified organic farming)
DESCRIPTION
Matcha is a tea from South Korea, from the volcanic island of Jeju. It has a characteristic fresh and sweet smell.
The complicated production process of this original tea is based on centuries-old Buddhist traditions. It is a meditative experience for the senses.
PREPARATION
The tea PREPARATION process is very important. In Japan, this process can take hours, so you can call it a ceremony.
However, we can prepare it much faster. You should boil the water and pour out 80 ml of it for about 5 minutes so that the water cools down to a temperature of 70 - 80 degrees C.
Place a strainer on the bowl and pour tea in the amount of half a teaspoon, maximum a flat teaspoon (2-3 pinches of powder), and then pour over the previously measured water.
Then mix vigorously up and down with a special bamboo brush until foam forms. The matcha prepared in this way is ready to drink.
It should be drunk in 3 - 4 sips and it is good not to let it sit for too long as the tea can then settle to the bottom and be less pleasant in taste.
