Rock salt from Kłodawa contains (in traces) a number of natural microelements necessary for the proper functioning of the human body, such as: iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc and potassium. Bioelements contained in Kłodawa salt form complexes that are easily absorbed by the body.

Due to the lack of iodine, non-iodized rock salt is not recommended for direct consumption. However, as a natural preservative, it is perfect for canning.
