Table sweetener based on erythritol and steviol glycosides

Erythritol is a natural, low-calorie sweetener. It is commonly found in fruits, vegetables, plant seeds, and mushrooms. Erythritol has a mildly sweet taste. Erythritol does not cause tooth decay. After consumption, it is quickly excreted by the body. Erythritol has the advantage that even in large amounts it does not have a laxative effect. Erythritol is enriched with steviol glycosides. Steviol glycosides have been used as sweeteners in South America for hundreds of years. The sweetness of steviol glycosides is 250 to 350 times higher than that of regular sugar. They are extracted from the leaves of a plant called Stevia (Stevia rebaudiana). The leaves of this plant are soaked in water for a week. The resulting aqueous solution is then purified and dried until steviol glycoside crystals are obtained.

Usage: Use like white sugar. It can be used for cooking, baking, or sweetening and thus reduces the calorie content of prepared dishes.

Ingredients: 99% erythritol, 0.1% steviol glycosides (rebaudioside A)
