Wild oregano oil is a source of vitamins A and C, flavonoids and phenols, including carvacrol. Carvacrol gives oregano its characteristic aroma. Other ingredients of oregano oil are triterpenoids such as oleanolic acid, sterols, beta-carotene and vitamin C. This oil has a positive effect on the digestive processes and thus supports the digestive system. It contains high levels of antioxidants that reduce free radicals and protect cells. As a result, it has a positive effect on the immune system and can inhibit the aging process of the body. In addition, it has antibacterial and antiviral properties, so it will come in handy during periods of reduced immunity.
Its oregano content depends on the plant chemotype, the subspecies, the region and even the harvest. Wild Oregano offered by Aliness is a 100% natural oil with a high and rare Carvacrol content that is up to 90%. Such a concentration was made possible by the use of the "rectification/stripping" process, ie the fractionation according to the relative amount of the ingredients and the use of suitable plant parts for their production. Each process step is fed with the product (distillate) of the previous process. This process is repeated until the desired concentration is reached. Both lower and higher concentrations of carvacrol are blends of natural oils with synthetic carvacrol derived from D-limonene. Synthetic oils have a different smell and taste. Oils with oregano, which are a blend of natural and synthetic carvacrol, contain up to 35% natural and 65% synthetic carvacrol.

Natural wild oregano oil (Origanum vulgare) standardized to 90% carvacrol, peel ingredients: gelatin, glycerin (binding agent), extra virgin olive oil, (bulking agent), water.

APPLICATION
