Black beet is a type of radish characterized by a thick, black root. It's actually a black radish, although in Poland we call it "turnip." Inside is white flesh. It's one of the oldest cultivated plants in Europe, Asia, and North Africa. It was known in Poland as early as the Middle Ages, and for many centuries it was one of the most popular vegetables until it was replaced by potatoes in the 19th century. Black beet can be eaten raw, but it has a characteristic, slightly bitter taste and may not be to everyone's taste. This is a shame, because it contains many valuable nutrients and has a positive effect on our health. However, there is a solution—instead of raw vegetables, we can choose vegetable juice . Let's see what benefits drinking black beet juice brings us.
